What a great Story!

Lorraine Hall weaved a beautiful tale. The main characters, Serena & Luciano were interesting, intelligent- sketched beautifully. Their personalities, their scars from childhood, their drive made them a perfect fit for each other in many ways. In other ways- they were fire and ice. Opposing forces. Timing is everything in a novel for me- Hall revealed the plot, the conflict, the motivation and evolution of the characters in a timely manner- not drawing the tale out. It came to be that drive for safety, detachment and protection became too much for Luciano. Suspense built; could doubts be overcome? Read for the details! A great story!
