Taming of the shrew

First year in college, career-focused Ashley has an affair with Italian tycoon Vito. She turns down his marriage proposal, he marries someone else, she loses focus and her career goes down the drain. Four years later, Vito's nephew taunts Ashley's brother at a family party, he retaliates by stealing and smashing Vito's car. Marriage-hating Ashley gets blackmailed into marrying the widowed Vito -- he still wants her. Will Vito tame the heroine this time? Don't expect a comedy, though. Ashley has survived parental physical abuse and she's projecting onto the hero. Possibly this story isn't interesting unless you've seen a similar taming story, or met some other unfeminine shrew who hates marriage.

Excellent book! Very enjoyable reading.

This book has all the elements that I look for in a romance book: Drop-dead GORGEOUS billionaire hero, spunky, virginal heroine, wonderful chemistry and passion between hero and heroine, great dialogue, beautiful romantic setting, and a well-paced story.
