A classic coming of age story

I found this book an exciting read and a beautiful coming of age story. A story about a young women in middle class England trying to stand on her own against a overbearing mother by getting her own flat, when she has a romantic affair with a gentle man who is of a different race (black) and becomes pregnant she is force to face the one person she fears... how it all ends why that's the best part luvs , read it for your self. I highly recomend this story to young adults that a required to read a play and don't want it to be boring experience ...
