This book advances the study of Manchu word formation by proposing a more detailed typology of its morphological processes, grounded in both prior scholarship and empirical data. It systematically examines the interconnections and distinctions among major word-formation methods, covering not only derivation, compounding, phonetic alternation, and reduplication, but also less frequently addressed mechanisms such as blending and inflectional lexicalization. Through fine-grained descriptive analysis, combined with diachronic and cross-linguistic approaches, the study investigates the functional motivations, grammatical properties, and structural patterns of Manchu derivational morphology. It also probes the boundary between derivation and inflection, as well as the interplay between derivation and compounding. By situating Manchu within a broader comparative framework, this book offers a fresh perspective on both the universal and language-specific dimensions of its word-formation system. 本书在前人研究的基础上，结合满语的构词实际，提出更为细化的构词方法，深入探讨各种构词法之间的相关性，明确构词法之间的差异。关于构词法的研究范围，本书包括派生（derivation）、合成（compound）、语音交替（phonetic alternation）、叠词（reduplication）等传统构词法。此外，还增加了缩合（blending）和屈折型的词汇化等构词方法。在对满语构词方式进行精细描写的基础上，运用历时比较法、跨语言比较法等方法对满语派生词法的形成机制、功能差异和语法表达等进行分析研究，对派生屈折关系、派生与合成关系等的进行探讨，从跨语言共性与特性的角度审视满语的构词法。
