Georgie Millett makes a faux-pas before even meeting Matthew de Capistrano, but he still falls head over heels in love with her. And even though he tries to hide it he goes to great lengths to please her, even giving up the site he was going to build on because she played there when she was a child. Georgie knows that her brother's business depends on Matt, but she can't seem to resist taking jabs at Matt, and he lets her over and over, because he knows she will be his in the end. Love finds a way, and even though Matt hasn't done anything to make Georgie his enemy, she does everything to keep the antagonistic situation going until she meets Matt's Mum. Georgie starts to give into the inevitable, and love grows. Though they really don't have an affair. Love finds a wonderful way. Ms Brooks put me into this story, and even though i found Georgie a bit immature, and Matt a little too patient, it made a good read because no one is perfect and Ms Brooks shows what can happen when imperfect people like we are still find love.
