Following this she obtained her bachelor's and then master's degrees while employed for 20 years with city and state governments. She eventually lived in Papua New Guinea and the Philippines and journeyed globally during her thirteen-year tenure as a mission's counselor. Maggie is now a retired--National Certified Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist, and a retired Mission's Family Counselor. She still enjoys singleness and continues to joyfully volunteer, now in her eightieth year of life.
