So for those considering purchasing this book, here it is: A COUNTRY BEAUTY BECOMES THE TALK OF THE TOWN... The daughter of an impoverished country parson, Carolina Weldon keeps order among her younger siblings with a kind and generous spirit, and enjoys the simple pleasures of family life that no amount of money could buy. Then her uncle, the elegant and urbane Lord Tufton, invites her to come to London. In the Tufton household, Carolina's unaffected ways are a breath of fresh air to servants and high society alike. Only the vain and beautiful Lady Tufton is threatened by her fetching niece. Soon, amid the dizzying gaiety of the Season, Carolina finds herself caught between the flattering attentions of James Haverill and her attraction to his handsome, enigmatic cousin, Lawrence. Yet only by following her heart in a world of glitter and pretension can she hope to claim the greatest treasure of all - a gentleman's true love ...
