Penny Jordan is one of the best Harlequin writers...

Dominic acted as if nothing happened. As though Christy's adolescent advances had not aroused his anger and contempt. Thr humiliation of his words had haunted her since and stood between her and all other men. Her career in London had come to a sudden stop because she had been unwilling to engage in an affair, so her ailing mother's need was reason enough to run home. The last thing she wanted was to see Dominic Savage. She disliked and despised him. But in the end that proved poor protection against his desires and her own needs. Like all other penny jordan books, this one is excellent! but im only giving it a 4 because 5 are reserve for my favorites (like payment in love). Penny jordan is one of my favorite harlequin presents author. actually, she's the best harlequin author in my opinion! i especially like her books that have plots involving the guy being secretly in love with the heroine right from the start.
