Like me, you're probably constantly looking for fun and interesting things to do. And if you have Digeorge Syndrome, as I do, you're constantly looking for fun activities to engage in outside of the house. However, it's not always simple, particularly if you have Digeorge Syndrome. You have a lot of energy when you have Digeorge Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that also makes it difficult for you to remain idle. Therefore, no matter how exhausted you are, there is always something to do for those with DiGeorge Syndrome. Even so, sometimes, you just need a break from all that energy. The Digeorge Syndrome comes into play here. Because even though you're really energetic, you still need to get some sleep. Because of this, for those who have Digeorge Syndrome, rest is equally as crucial as activity. Because of this, you should still make time for yourself each day, even if you feel like you have a lot of energy. And for that reason, even if you don't have Digeorge Syndrome, you still need to set aside some time each day for yourself. Because even if you are really energetic, you may still need some downtime to unwind. WHAT IS DIGEORGE SYNDROME? There are only about 3000 cases of the rare disease known as DiGeorge syndrome in the United States. When a person's body doesn't create enough thyroid hormone, a genetic disease called hypothyroidism develops. Your heart, bones, and other organs may suffer as a result. A mutation in one of the genes that regulate the generation of thyroid hormone results in DiGeorge syndrome.
