Strengthens and Inspires

A Pretty Good Person, by Lewis Smedes, has been one of my favorite books for many years. The tough issues of being human are addressed with compassion and humility. This book is a source of strength when facing hard issues, or just the struggles of day to day choices. Reading it is like sitting with a good friend who knows and loves you, and sees the "pretty good person" you are and want to be.
