A must for every school library

This charming little story is a wonderful way to teach young children that police officers can be kind and helpful. The only reason I didn't give this book a five-star rating, is that none of the officers pictured are women! Too bad, because little girls can grow up to be police officers, too. Nevertheless, this is a wonderful book!

A simple tale of how Police help our children.

Young children need direction that enhances community service. This book provides us with a vision of how the occupation of a police officer is more than just protecting the public from criminals. The book provides a simple story that let's us know more about our community servants, the Police Officers. The graphics are presented in such a way that it seems like a child may have had a hand in the design.

A nightly reader for my 3-1/2 read-old son.

This book is a refreshing reminder that police really do more than arrest bad guys. This story of three different officers helping a boy reinforced the positive image that police are here to help, serve and protect.

TEACHES KIDS THAT POLICEMEN DO THINGS IN THE COMMUNITY OTHER THAN "ARREST PEOPLE AND PUT THEM IN JAIL". THEY LEARN THAT A POLICEMAN CAN BE A HELP ON A DAILY BASIS AND SHOULD BE LOOKED UPON AS A COMMUNITY SERVICE. A SIX OR SEVEN YEAR OLD COULD READ IT HIMSELF AFTER HAVING IT READ TO HIM.
