Beautiful Novel

This must be Kitty Ray's best book. One of the best British novels that I've read over the past decade. A young college professor falls in love with one of her students, becomes pregnant and takes a year off from work to live in an old cottage in the woods that she inherited from her aunt. While living in that cottage, she finds the fascinating wartime journals of her aunt... The journals form a story within the story linking the two lives together. I highly recommend this wonderful book. 10 stars!
