A Meeting With My Mind: Poetically Thinking is a collection of poems I have written dealing with the everyday struggle it takes to make it in this cruel, cruel world. This book will deal with life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness through my own words, exercising my freedom of speech. These poems will make you laugh and cry. They will make you happy and sad, but they will also take you into the mind of me, the poet. When I write, I'm really trying to touch my readers mentally and give them a more visual outlook to go with every poem I write. These poems were written while I was having a meeting with my mind, meaning that anytime or every time I write a poem, I am locking out everything mentally and talking with my mind. As a poet, I try to write every poem and make it as real as possible so the reader can place themselves in my shoes.
