Small town girl wakes up in California bed

Chandra Madison is looking for love and marriage. Too bad she wakes up in bed with Reid Devlin after too much to drink at a California party. Reid lets her know that nothing happened - not that he would mind if something had. He's ready to offer his services but sure hopes she'll get over her fairy-tale beliefs. Of course Chandra turns him down, but soon a threat from the past has her looking for a man's protection... In this novel as in a few others Jayne Castle more obviously examines the conflict between the sexual revolution and love and marriage. Chandra starts off getting drunk from the shock of realizing the man she had been dating was already married, and Reid had recently broken a bad engagement. The author lets us know that the troubles and silly ideas between the sexes can still be worked through to reach the traditional goals, no matter what other people say.
