Lloyd E. N. Bartholomew was born on the fifth of August, 1938. The place was Wakenaam Island in the Essequibo River in Guyana, South America.

With both parents working, Mom as a domestic and Dad as a pork knocker, Lloyd helped with the rearing of his brothers. Cyrus was then about two and a half years of age, and Richard was about seven months.

The journey through life has its challenges. How we view and overcome them makes life meaningful and progressive. Some of these can be health, education, career, relationships, environmental and political. Each of us, in most cases, makes the choice and path to travel. The guidance we accept determines the end result.
