HE Says I'm Beautiful is based upon a mentoring relationship between an eighth grade girl, Nicolette, and her mentor Ms. Ruthie. They discuss some self-esteem issues that Nicolette is having, and she realizes how special and dear she is to the Lord Ms. Ruthie draws upon the Word the God to help Nicolette ponder and reevaluate how she feels about herself based on how God sees her. In turn, Nicolette renews her relationship with God and gets a new sense of self and how to handle her peers at school as a Christian. This book is a great study group discussion for youth, teen, and young adult ministries. This dialogue encourages our girls to receive the love of Christ and to realize He made them and loves them dearly.
