great book for its time

This is a great book. I really don't understand the negative reviews that complain about it lacking info regarding the novels and latest 3 movies. OF COURSE it doesn't have that info. The book can not predict the future. Remember that this book came out in 1984! If you are reviewing another edition then please move your review to that edition. There's nothing wrong with this book. It does cover the first 3 movies and all the books that were out at the time of publishing.

An excellent and informative book!

I spend hours a day enjoying this book. If you are a Star Wars fan I highly suggest you pick this up. Its filled with short, but informative and well-written descriptions about practically everything from the original Star Wars trilogy, including the movies, books, radio dramitizations, T.V. specials etc etc... It has well done illustrations thoughout, and is extremly useful for Star Wars information. I found out something I've been dieing to know for awhile now.....what a nerf herder is :) So pick up this book, read it, enjoy it, and cherish it.

it was verey detailed and interesting
