I ordered this book for my wife, who is enrolled in an Anatomy and Physiology class. Her professor recommended the book as a supplement to the textbook used in the course. My wife says it has been very helpful. I am grateful that her professor did not have a textbook of his own to sell, and showed us how to save a lot of money on this book.

i found this book really helpful as reference in my anatomy & physiology lab. the pictures are in black and white (the book is 1984 edition), so it would be nicer if they were in color, but overall, i would recommend this book for people taking A & P. plus, the book is really light compared to a lot of the other anatomy reference books. :)
A bit dated, but a great reference for A & P Lab

To give you some idea of how long ago this manual was made, the labels on the bones and muscles are typed on a typewriter! But is has good photos, and by having black and white tissue slide photos, my students focus on the structure, not the color. We don't dissect the cat any more (at least not for the muscles), but the human bone photos are very well done.
