Jess Corban's debut novel presents a new twist to the dystopian genre, delivering heart-pounding action, thought-provoking revelations, and a setting as lush as the jungles of Central America.
Very cool concept around dystopian female centered society that definitely makes you think. If you enjoyed Hunger Games or series similar to that, you'll enjoy this series. Definitely recommend!
The best book I’ve read in years

The author explores the thought provoking “what if” the world embraced a matriarchal system and ensured men could never do harm to women again? She does an incredible job of world-building, creating multi-faceted characters for the reader to love and hate, and presenting philosophical and even ethical questions to contemplate. I highly recommend this book for older teens and adults.
