AN INNOCENT GAME ENDS IN TRAGEDY, AND A CHILD IS GIVEN THE BLAME.
James is a man who lives a life of monotony, but when he receives a letter from his estranged grandmother who offers a chance to win an endowment, he answers the call. All he has to do is solve a simple game of clues, like he did as a child. He does think it odd, however, that the game is an exact repeat of his largest disgrace.
With no other options, James finds himself on Marsh Island-a remote property in the coastal Louisiana marsh-rejoining his tenuous position in a family that hates him. They all reluctantly work together, but when repressed memories resurface and fingers are pointed, blood begins to boil.
As James battles his way through alligator-infested waters and clues that seem too cruel to come from sweet old ladies, a storm approaches. The clock is ticking, and hurricanes wait for no one.
HAPPY HUNTING.
