Catholicism for Thinking People

I picked this book up in the library because the liner notes sounded interesting. I was astounded at the straighforward, common sense teachings in this book. I didn't know Catholic Priests wrote like this. This book makes Christianity accessible to those of us who have trouble with some of the more "magical" concepts like the resurrection and ascension. Father O'Donnell takes the basics of the faith, like the Creed, Lords Prayer, Ten Commandments, and the Beatitudes and makes them understandable, real and reasonable. I highly recommend this book. Give it to your "rational" friends who say, "but none of that stuff makes sense." This book will change their minds.
