A Dog's View: The World Through A Dog's Eyes

By D.D Roach

A Dog's View - The World Through a Dog's Eyes is a heartfelt animal adventure told from the perspective of Kutchi, a young puppy whose life is shaped by love, separation, survival, friendship and the search for home.

Born beneath a broken-down car and cared for by her devoted mother, Kutchi's difficult life changes when she is adopted into a new home. She quickly forms a special bond with young Darryl and settles into a happy life alongside the other family dogs.

One terrifying night, the explosive sound of fireworks sends Kutchi into a panic. She escapes from her home and finds herself alone in unfamiliar streets with no idea how to return.
Away from everything she knows, Kutchi must learn how to survive. Hunger, danger, strange surroundings and encounters with other dogs force her to become braver and more independent. Along the way, she discovers friendship, loyalty, compassion, and the importance of trusting others, while never losing her longing for the family she left behind.

Inspired by experiences with the author's real dog, Kutchi, A Dog's View explores the world from an animal's perspective and the powerful connection that can develop between dogs and the people who care for them. The story also touches gently on illness, aging, loss, recovery, and the lasting memories animals leave with their families.

Featuring illustrations throughout, A Dog's View - The World Through a Dog's Eyes is written for readers ages 9 and up who enjoy emotional animal stories, adventure, friendship, family and stories about finding where you truly belong.

For dog lovers of all ages.
