Join me with an exploration of whether one's brain would experience positive inner change when reconnected with nature. We will be looking to see if I can control my thoughts and actions better after submerging myself into the life of a long distance backpacker. Whether this immersion can alleviate my stress will be investigated. I ventured out to see whether nature, as a tool and a suggested self-help aid, will allow me to enable myself to find relief from my everyday basic psychological maladies. We will look as well into what positive change experiences Appalachian Trail (AT) thru-hikers experience and describe in their journals due to long-distance hiking. Will their experiences reflect on my outcome? Where would I go after such an experience? Where would life take a person who tried to physically change their brain.
