Good Information, Well Laid Out, Help Me Pass Exam

I would definately recommend this to anyone taking the A+ certification. It is well laid out, and easy to work through. My only issue is the fact that the practice tests and questions were quite different from what was on the actual test. Other than that, I would recommend to anyone looking at an A+ certification. I will continue to use Syngress books for my Net+ and MCSE track.

its a book with great explanations

it is a book that clearly conveys to the reader how to install upgrade and do complex things you would regulary get confused by large words in other books, but this is the most down to earth english book.

Success! I passed with this book

Of the 2 other books i bought to study for the exam this was the one that i relied on. the "real life tips" were an additional bonus, because they have been a good reference in my work. the cd was a usfklul aid innavigating through this very thick book, and the self test areas were helpful in pointing out my weak areas. Good part on Operating Systems.

Excellent Study Tool

Unlike most A+ Certification texts, this is a two-part set consisting of a study guide and exam text. Probably the most gratifying feature are the many large full-color photos which I feel most people can easily relate to and find easier to understand than hand-drawn pictures. It even comes with a CD-ROM. Thankfully, the study text is quite short at just over 500 pages. This text is probably one of the most novice-friendly.

This book helped me pass both exams (Core/DOS & Windows). Easy reading. Great for those with not alot of exp.
