The idea of writing this book was conceived when our own students found great difficulty in getting a book suited to their academic needs, though there were several related books but they had very high technical standard, complex language as well as introductory part, with less relevance to Examination point of view. Vast majority of the students find this subject to be dull & boring to read & have great difficulty to answer in the examination due to proper understand the knowledge of the chapter. To fill this lacunae & to satisfy the needs of the students, it was proposed to bring out a book with optimum a mixture of theoretical background, instrumentation, application, multiple question answer as well as laboratory work.
