"The first edition of Stray Birds was completed in 1916, and included 325 short poems, some of which were translated from the author's Bengali poetry collection, and the other part was the author's English poetry. When reading poetry, readers seem to be perched by the window, while summer birds sing and fly by the window. These poems cover themes such as nature, humanity, and the environment in which people live. Although they are short and concise, sometimes even just one line, often describing only a picture or fleeting thoughts, unlike the birds of summer, they will linger in the heart for a long time.
