This book has everything a beginner or intermediate gym rat will need to bulk up relatively quickly. The author is a constant contributor to Ironman magazine, and clearly knows his stuff. The advice is short, practical, straight to the point, and provides medical references you can follow up on. The book gives you a wide spectrum of things to consider, including proper workout habits, type of training patterns to follow, nutrition and supplements, and other general pointers that have helped me get past my sticking points. In conclusion, I really wish I got this book a few years earlier. It would have saved me a lot of time spent on useless training.
