In a small town in south central Pennsylvania, there is a town called "Gettysburg." In 1863, the town had lots of stores and restaurants. Most residents were of German descent and were farmers of crops like peaches, wheat and corn. These people called themselves "Pennsylvania Dutch". But the town also had plenty of Irish, English and African American families. It was a sleepy little town until June 30, 1863.
