A "NICE" selection!!!

Am VERY pleased with the detailed color photos of the stitches and patterns!!! The thing that MOST impresses me is that each stitch pattern shown GIVES the multiple. (Example: multiple of 9 + 5). More times then not, you rarely find this listed on patterns in books, magazines, web sites, etc. I find it extremely useful when listed, in the event you may want to lenghten, shorten, enlarge or make smaller. It just makes it soooo much easier to ADAPT a pattern instead of guessing - "how to?". Absolutely love the book!!!

Super Book - quick reference

This gathering of stich patterns is - above all - a good bargain. The patterns are diverse and clearly written. I probably have most of these patterns already in my full collection of knitting books - But it's great to have them in just one little book. Perfect for knitting on the go. The pictures are great. I especially like the fact that the patterns are grouped together... easy to find what you want. There were a couple of stich abbreviations that I am not familiar with, but the book explained them. I wish that someone would write a pattern book that shows both the from side and the back side of the swatch, since in some projects, both sides can be visible.

Add this to your Knitting Library

I have all the Harmony Guides and I recommend buying all the guides especially if you ever plan on designing any knitting patterns. You will get the symbol chart plus the multiples requried for each pattern and if you have ever tried to design before you know how much that multiple count helps.

This book is fantastic. I'm a textile designer in knitwear and this book is great for different ideas and inspiration. Its fantastic for beginners and also for the experienced knitter. You can never know too much.
