40 Christian Myths about Sex

Is masturbation or looking at pornography always wrong? Is it always a sin to have sex outside of marriage? Is BDSM always sin? The answer to these questions is no. Proverbs 18:13 says, "Spouting off before listening to the facts is both shameful and foolish." (NLT) Many have strong opinions regarding what the Bible has to say about sex. They'll harshly judge others because of their sexual choices. They'll "spout off" about questions before having studied the biblical facts on the matter. If someone doesn't live according to the mores of some more "traditional" church goers, they'll judge you. There is currently a "hookup culture" which has gone too far and has led to sin and harm. This book seeks to address this. This book is broken into 40 chapters. Each of the 40 chapters has as its title a "Christian myth" regarding sex which the chapter then addresses. Some chapters are short and easy to read and offer some practical advice on sex and social issues. Others deal with this subject exegetically from the Bible and thoroughly examine theological subjects such as the meaning of the words: fornication, adultery, lust, etc. Thorough biblical research has gone into the writing of this book along with research into the original biblical languages.
