The Book of Proverbs lends wisdom in all areas of lives. It warns us of the dangers of adultery and the dangers of being of fool. It tells how to be wise and to live the good life. It instructs us that we need to ask God for wisdom, just as Solomon did. It is filled with the wise observations of Solomon, who observed God's creation at work. It informs us of when and how we should speak and also when we should keep our mouths shut. This book breaks down the 31 Chapters of Proverbs into a chapter a day. Each day has a few verses from the chapter, which we take a quick look at (Hence the name 30 Seconds a Day in Proverbs). The daily devotion is designed to make you think through the verses. My hope is that helps you read through Proverbs each day and dig a little deeper. My biggest hope though is that this helps you improve your walk with God, but more importantly if you do not have a walk with God, I hope it leads you to it. Accepting Jesus as your Savior is the most important decision you can make. I hope this book leads you to that.
