This book is very helpful for beginners who are trying to understand and memorize kanji. It separates kanji into lessons and gives quizzes where you read examples and answer questions, vocab lists with kanji, hiragana and English, and characters, their meanings, and the stroke orders. I really like the book and the price was amazing, when you buy it used expect there to be quite a bit of writing in the beginning of the book at least. Overall, this is a really good book to practice and learn 250 basic kanji.
