Plan 9 from Outer Space is considered the worst movie ever made. In their efforts to introduce themselves and save the universe, aliens visit Earth and stop trying to communicate just when humans learn to translate their messages. The aliens enact Plan 9 to stop humans from discovering how to explode sunlight.

These brilliant visitors animate corpses and test controlling them like, you guessed it, zombies. The plan is to march these dead bodies up to the capitol buildings of world governments to display their advancement 'in such things' and convince earthlings not to advance their creation of destructive weapons.

You already see the problem with Plan 9, as Omron does in my short story. If his people wish to make themselves known to humans, why withdraw their advanced spaceships and send zombies to make the people of earth respect their existence? If they chose Plan 9, what other ones had they rejected? Finally, we have our answer in 12 Plans from Outer Space.
