I loved the books of my childhood

This is one of the best books from when I was a kid and I read many. I am now 50 and have no children but I got a real hankering to read this book again and thus was happy as can be to see that I can order it right here. Any kid will enjoy this book and even an oldster like myself will have a good time with it.

Popcorn Everywhere!

I think you should read this book because it can help kids learn about businesses like supermarkets and popcorn stands. This book is about a few kids who find a bag of popping corn. Then they create a popcorn stand. I find this book very helpful and funny. It would be a great book for a 1st through 5th grader.

Even after 30+ years...

...I remember this book fondly. It wasn't my first book, nor my introduction to popcorn, but it enhanced my love of both. My son is in fourth grade now and I can't wait for him to open his copy for the solstice holiday so I can read it to him and share in the story. Why aren't such books kept in print? Someone could make a mint!

THE book that turned me into a lifelong, non-stop reader

I read this book in the fourth grade (I was on the cusp of turning nine). I'll NEVER forget what I said to myself about midway through this book: "This is GREAT. I am totally lost in the story. It is SO funny. I love, love, LOVE reading and I love, love, LOVE books. I want to read more and more and more, now and always and forever." This is truly the first book I LOVED, and absolutely the book that started me on my bookish path in life, from where I have never strayed. Parents, teachers, or anyone who wants to give a wonderful book to a child between the ages of eight and ten, order this book now.

100 pounds of excellence

This book may be old, but our kids love it, it is one of those timeless classics. Kids find a huge bag of popping corn and set up a business to sell it as popcorn, but wouldn't you know it, they find problems that beset real business in their ventures, you have to read it to see what happens
