Hitorijime My Hero Volume 3 (Spring Awakening)

With Kousuke and Masahiro now engaged, some problems begin to arise. Houjou and his wife Ayaka (also known as Kousuke's friends) find out about Kousuke's and Masahiro's relationship. They confront the couple, and Masahiro takes the fault. When Masahiro and his friends (Asaya, Ken, Shige, Yamabe, and Chairman Yoshida) discover that they are split into two different classes, they have mixed feelings. Nevertheless, they all plan to hang out at the Ohshiba house. While all this is happening, Shige ponders why Kousuke and Masahiro spend a lot of time together. Chairman Yoshida confirms Kousuke and Masahiro are together when he spies on them kissing at school. In response, Shige calls the couple gross, but this does not sit lightly for Ken (Kousuke's younger brother and Masahiro's best friend). Shige begins to drift away from his former friends. Will Masahiro be able to rectify this gap between Shige and his friends? Will they talk this out, or will Shige end up in the Ohshiba family doghouse (not Shigeo's)? Memeco Arii has done a fantastic job with the story, the cover, and the character development. I haven't mentioned the book covers lately, but I think they are great. The Hitorijime My Hero front covers include Kousuke and Masahiro, while the back shows the other characters. On the back, Shige is mad but secluded from Yamabe, Chairman Yoshida, and Yunge. I hope these characters can work out their issues and become friends again.
