أتاني وجهه مغبّشاً، لا يتبدّى منه سوى نظرةٍ سوداء حادّة، وأثر سكّين في خدّه الأيسر. تبّاً لهذا السكّين ألا يزال هنا، منغرزاً في ذاكرتي؟ ويدي؟ لمَ لا تزال إلى اليوم ترتجف كلّما تذكّرت لحظة طعنته في وجهه؟ من أين أتيت بالسكّين يومها، وبكلّ تلك الجرأة وذلك التوحّش؟ لا أدري... لا أذكر سوى الطعنة... وسكيّنٌ علق في عمق خدّه وسلبني هدوئي، وعينيه المذهولتين، إذ غطّى الدم وجهه، واعتلى الصراخ في فضاء الغرفة. أذكر أيضاً أنّهم احتجزوني يومها في قبوٍ صغير معتمٍ، وتركوني هناك، بمفردي، ليلةً كاملة، أبكي وأصرخ وأنتحب، محاولاً أن أقنعهم بأنّ طوني هو من بدأ الاعتداء، وأنّي كنت أدافع عن نفسي فقط...
