The book In the City of November is a selection of Tatiana Voltskaya's poems written over a span of ten years: from 2015 to 2025.

Because of this, it takes on the character of a poetic diary-highly compressed, with all that is secondary stripped away. That is why there are no thematic sections here: so-called civic poetry blends with love poems and philosophical reflections-the poetic flow is continuous, like life itself, where in a single day we work, fall in love, walk with our children, clean the house, take to the streets in protest, and experience joy, sorrow, fear, or fatigue.

Tatiana Voltskaya's poetry does not follow any fashionable trends; it carries the sound of direct speech and unfiltered emotion, which the author, to the best of their ability, transforms into art.

Книга составлена не по стихотворным сборникам, выходившим в эти годы, а по годам, в хронологическом порядке, поэтому имеет характер поэтического дневника, только сильно сжатого - когда все второстепенно отброшено. Именно поэтому здесь нет тематических разделов, и так называемая гражданская лирика смешивается с любовной и философской - стихотворный поток непрерывен, как жизнь, где мы в один и тот же день работаем, любим, гуляем с детьми, убираем квартиру, выходим на митинг, испытываем радость, печаль, страх или усталость.
