تُعدُّ العفة بمعناها العام قيمةً مخلوقة مع الإنسان حين خلقه الله، وهي من الميزان الذي وضعه الله لتستقيم به الحياة، فكانت انحرافات العفة تمثل انكسارًا في سير الحياة البشرية، وبين يدي القارئ أنموذج في التاريخ بحوار جرى بين نبي الله موسى عليه السلام مع امرأتين لم يرد في القرآن تسميتهما، إعلانًا بأن ذلك ليس ذا بالٍ، إذ هذا هو سير الحياة التي خلقها الله أن تكون على العفة بين الرجل والمرأة.وقف المؤلف مع آيات سورة القصص، واستنبط ما وراء الألفاظ من الدلالات والعبر من مظاهر العفة، مستنبطًا من كلام المرأتين، ثم استكشف المؤلف مظاهر العفة في كلام موسى عليه السلام، واستخرج لنا مقومات العفة، التي ينبغي تطبيقها في المجتمعات البشرية على ضوء ما ورد في القصة.وقد سار المؤلف على منهجية أهل العلم في جمعهم بين المحافظة على تفسيرات السلف وتوسيع دائرة الاستنباط بضوابطه المنهجية المقررة.العبيكان للنشر
Chastity in its general sense is a value created with man when God created him, and it is one of the balances that God set to upright life, so the deviations of chastity represented a break in the course of human life, and in the hands of the reader a model in history of a dialogue that took place between the Prophet of God Moses (peace be upon him) with two women whose names are not mentioned in the Qur'an, declaring that this is not important, as this is the course of life that God created to be on chastity between men and women. The author explored the manifestations of chastity in the words of Moses (peace be upon him), and extracted for us the elements of chastity, which should be applied in human societies in the light of what is mentioned in the story.
