Bon appetit, CSM fans~

Review summary: Decent volume with the same gore-tistic art, deadpan and raunchy humor, and cool devil designs. Not much story or character progression, but still fun nonetheless. Full review: The main antagonist in this volume was the Falling Devil; I liked her design, and her theme of being a chef was pretty cool too. It had been a while since I read Chainsaw Man, so I forgot how... creepily gross Denji is with his desires, but the deadpan humor that comes from it is pretty funny. Just don't think too hard. I felt like Asa slightly grew as a character, yet digressed in another way at the same time, kind of equaling out without much progress. The fight scenes were awesome, like normal, and same with the gore. There were definitely some things that left me with quite a few questions, so while I don't feel like the existing plot was furthered very much, there was quite a bit of setup for future volumes.
