Book Overview

In an office romance, there's a fine line between sexy and awkward... and that line is where Asako -- a woman who sweats copiusly -- met Koutarou -- a perfume developer who can't get enough of Asako's, er, scent. Don't miss a romcom manga like no other

JINGLE SMELLS
With great effort, the notorious workaholic Natori has managed to carve out a real holiday break, with time away from the office to spend with his girlfriend Asako. But that doesn't mean he's been able to tear himself away long enough to get her a proper present, and by the time he starts looking for a Christmas reservation at the restaurant he's had his heart set on, they're full up For her part, Asako's been completely swamped--the books have to be closed for the end of the year, so 'tis the season to log overtime in the accounting department

The hilarious ups and downs of an office romance at a personal care products company are the subject of this sexy, strange romp. Sweat and Soap combines the odd-couple chemistry of Wotakoi, the too real workplace comedy of Aggretsuko, and a heavy dollop of office steaminess

Sniff sniff, Happy New Year!

Summary: Kotaro and Asako's relationship is precious. I love seeing their ups and downs as their love evolves. The couple's friends and family are so supportive and pretty cool, making me wish I could get to know them a little more, along with our main duo. Full review: How the side characters not only have their own personalities, but speak their mind and share their emotions freely, and not just for the benefit of the main couple, is great. Like Asako's parents. Yes, of course, their emotions had to do with their children, but their scene didn't stop when the kids left. It showed them to be more than characters, but as people. One character I would love to know more about is Chief Okura, Asako's boss. He's always been supportive of Asako and Natori's relationship and helped however he could. He is such an interesting guy! Kotaro and Asako's relationship is advancing at a good pace; they've been together seven months by the end of volume 5 and are already making major life decisions that feel genuine to them and their speed. They are so sweet together, reading only a few pages puts me in a good mood, but leaves me craving more! I'm excited to learn how their relationship progresses and explore more of the other characters' lives too!
