Hitorijime My Hero Volume 8 (Grown-Up Feelings)

In the love hotels, Masahiro is being a real jaguar, pouncing on Kousuke in bed. Kousuke's best friends show up frequently. While Shirou (a gangster friend of Kousuke's) works to provide the couple with an apartment, Onda (Kousuke's friend in politics) plans to break up their relationship. However, Kousuke and Masahiro are looking forward to living their days together in their future apartment. Natsuo is depressed that he fooled himself into thinking that Kousuke would someday be his. However, Natsuo isn't the only lovesick person here in this story.
Yunge attempts to jam his way into Natsuo's life, but that may be harder than it appears. Yunge compares Natsuo to a vampire in one of the previous volumes because he only comes out to work at night. Thus, making it difficult for Yunge to confront Natsuo about his feelings for him. As a part-time worker at Relax Bar Mary, Yunge's shot at kidnapping Mary the cat and holding him hostage doesn't go as planned, resulting in Mary involuntarily chilling with Shigeo and Sasa. So, how desperate is Yunge to have Natsuo fall in love with him? Desperate enough to ask love advice from Kousuke, Masahiro, and Ken? As a result of this whole fiasco, Asaya's aura is glowing brightly, causing good fortune to occur all around him.
Meanwhile, Kousuke's resentment is conveyed through his words and memories. Takamori wasn't at the hospital for the birth of his second son, Kensuke Ohshiba. He expected an approximately 12-year-old Kousuke to take care of his mother and brother all on his own. Kousuke also recollects his early encounters with Natsuo.
It is interesting to observe Natsuo's different hairstyle in the manga compared to the anime. Natsuo wears his hair back in the show, while this depressed Natsuo wears his hair forward. I love the carousel image where Kousuke, Masahiro, Asaya, Ken, and Yunge are all riding the horses while Yunge stares at Natsuo in the distance. Kousuke, Masahiro, Asaya, and Ken are living happy lives, while Natsuo enters a stage of depression. But danger looks on the horizon when Onda convinces Natsuo to get revenge on Masahiro for taking Kousuke away from Natsuo. Will Kousuke and Masahiro fend off the team of Natsuo, Kaide, and Onda?
Memeco Arii emphasizes the characters Yunge and Natsuo in this book. I can't believe that Shirou was a male role model to Yunge and that Yunge has a crush on Natsuo. I seriously hope that they get together in the future. I believe that Natsuo should find happiness in a relationship with Yunge—I'm shipping them so much. I wish happiness and love to all the characters in this series. I recommend this series to anyone who loves BL manga and anime stories.
