I really enjoyed this book. It has inspired me to define my purpose in life and choose the path that is in line with this purpose, the path where my passion lies. What a shift I've had by focusing on this and using the techniques described in the book to get there!! The writing style makes it easy to read and refer back to, and the summaries in bullet form at the end of each chapter are great. Although I've read various books over the years that describe a practice to energize or improve your life, Ann Roulac's book enabled me to see the relationship between all energy practices and choose the ideal one for me. I highly recommend this book!

Reviewed by Beverly Pechin for Reader Views (8/06) In today's world we all feel the pressures of every day living. Some of us feel it more than others. Yet some people really do seem to enjoy their full life. Why? Everything from getting up in the morning, going to work, picking up the kids, running them to practices, making dinners, stopping to buy groceries and getting the house to look like it's not the aftermath of a severe hurricane can be victory enough for anyone; but to do it all and not feel drained is a feat I may have deemed impossible before reading this wonderful book by Ann Nichols Roulac. Now, I feel like I can manage the stresses of every day life and perhaps even end it with a little energy left over. While I'm sure it will take a while to improve upon the tactics she explains, often in great detail, I know that I have the basis for beginning to truly enjoy my life and do it without feeling drained and incomplete. I now have the knowledge needed to approach my world in a whole new, positive way. Roulac's book is a combination of various techniques that she has studied throughout her life. She covers everything from simple prayer to meditation to yoga and ancient techniques from India. One of my favorite areas of the book was her explanation of how the body connects together to form one whole. I'm not talking a physical connection. It's not anatomy 101. More like Chakra 101. Chakra, the ancient way of thinking from India where one realizes that your body and various parts of it are connected to your energy, functions and entire reactions of the body. For instance, your first Chakra is at your base or spine. The 1st Chakra works with your adrenals, kidneys and colon and affects your life forces, vitality, instincts and survival. If you learn to fully develop these 7 Chakras you will certainly benefit by using your body to its fullest abilities and creating a harmony within yourself. This ancient Yogic technique from India seems not only very logical but truly interesting and has been proven as a technique for centuries. While there isn't a complete explanation how to achieve these various levels using the numerous techniques the author writes about, the book gives you enough information to make a very wise and well thought out decision as to what direction you would like to go to find inner peace. I highly recommend that if you are thinking of trying to find your whole self and are tired of feeling used up and depleted, yet aren't sure what techniques and ideas would work for you, pick up "Power, Passion & Purpose" to get a wonderful explanation of what is available out there and a synopsis of what the techniques consist of. Armed with enough information you will avoid purchasing tons of items you think you need for this technique and that technique, only to find out it gets stored in the basement for a garage sale! Using the complete knowledge and experience of the author you will truly have a much bette
