Diane Mott Davidson writes bestselling mysteries that use the theme of food, and she includes recipes in each of her books. Born in 1949 in Charlottesville, Virginia, Mott Davidson attended Wellesley College and graduated from Stanford University. She earned her M.A. in art history from Johns Hopkins University. After moving to Colorado, Mott Davidson set aside writing while she focused on volunteering and raising her family. She began writing again, and published her first novel, Catering to Nobody. Since then, she has written more than a dozen New York Times bestsellers. Mott Davidson divides her time between Evergreen, Colorado and Florida.
