Wicked Good Time is an enjoyable read!

This is my first Diana Tremain Braund book. I was pleasantly surprised. The characters are well developed and the scenery is great. This book shows that a perfect amount of description can be obtained without overkill. The characters keep you pulling for them to get together. This of course is the basis for any great lesbian romance book. It will not disappoint you. The mystery portion is a bit predictable but entertaining none the less. I definately suggest this book to anyone who loves lesbian romance.

Wicked and Good

I enjoyed every bit of this book. It was passionate and well-plotted and well-written. Christina is a bit mysterious, but that was part of the wicked goodness of the story. And a lovely woman in a park ranger's uniform ... okay, who *hasn't* had that fantasy? I'll be looking for more from Braund after such a pleasant experience.

Wicked Good Time

I came across this book by accident and will subsequently be purchasing the first book written by the author. I am glad to say that there is another author out there who will become one of my favorites. I agree with the first reviewer about Miki being so overtly masculine. I would have liked a more in depth description of Miki, as in depth as Cristina. And yes, I did have some difficulty in believing what attracted Cristina to Miki, but if you believe that opposites attract and beauty is in the eye of the beholder than you can overlook the physical polarities of the characters and move on from there. What I was extremely impressed with was not so much the plot (which was good). There are many interesting plots out there for books and alot of authors have created, revised and published them. What really impressed me was the authors writing. This lady can write very well and believe me there is nothing more annoying than to have an excellent plot pulverized by someone who can not write. Everything flowed naturally, it was somewhat suspenseful, there was a build up of attraction between both characters and their intimacy was not accomplished within the first half of the book. It occurred later on. Of course there is nothing more interesting than a story of a straight woman who suddenly becomes attracted to someone of the same-sex and gives in to that attraction and pursues the relationship.

Interesting people...interesting place

The second book is as good, or better than the first (The Way Life Should Be). I like this author's writing because she is respectful of all of her characters...even the smarmy ones are not entirely evil. Her writing catches the reader's attention and keeps it during a soothing exploration of life and conflict in a rural area. Grab a cup of tea, cozy up to the fire, and enjoy this book.
