This book should be in every elementary school library

This is a book that should be in the library of every elementary school in the United States. The author has done a superb job in adapting many of the famous Mother Goose rhymes to the Hawaiian language. Some examples are: Ua, ua go away, Hilo's wet enough today, And all the tourists want to play! (ua is the Hawaiian word for rain) Twinkle, twinkle little hoku How I wonder all about you Up above the `aina so high, Like a kaimana in the sky. (hoku is the Hawaiian word for star, `aina is the word for land or Earth and kaimana is the word for sky) Not only will the children enjoy hearing some of the all-time best nursery rhymes, but they will learn some Hawaiian words in the process. It will also be an excellent supplement to any section on the history of Hawaii or the expansion of the United States.
