Excellent Variety

This book is great! It introduces basic words and objects in both English & French along with vivid pictures, sectioned off into 5 categories: colors, numbers, shapes, opposites and noises. Each word has several pages dedicated to it with different objects pictured to reinforce the idea (example- the color "green" shows off a "green apple", "green frog", "green paint"). Very basic, yet covers a wide vocabulary for the early learner.

Great for flash cards!

I'm a preschool teacher, and am actually cutting up this book (I bought two of them because the pages are obviously two-sided!) to use as flash cards. The one thing I really dislike, however, is the use of English along with the French. I really don't think that's the best way to learn a foreign language, but the pictures are great!
