THE LONELY STAR.

In the beginning, Jane miller and her family moved to Corpus Christi from Chicago because of something her father did. They are Jews and all Jane is trying to do is fit in with the other kids at school, the principal tries to spank her but she asks for her father to be called before he passes her punishment. Jane's family is a Jewish family and they have rules and laws according to how they conduct their daily lives. Then the heat incenses when their grandfather visits and she has a Christmas tree hidden in her closet! A Christian symbol in a Jewish home goes against all their rules. Then another fear comes into perspective. Jeff, Jane's brother can't go to college because his father can't afford to send him to college even though he has good grades! In my opinion, his father shouldn't have done what he did to ruin their lives. I would give this book **** stars because it was interesting and explained all the Jewish troubles and ways.

A awesome book

A surprising good book.If you think everyone is alike in the world this book will work for you.If you like your religon and doesn't matter what other religons are you will probably like this book.

Lone Star

Lone Star was a great book. I love the way the author described the life of poor old Jane. Her parents costantly fight and her grandfather is REALLY religious. She has a lot of trouble making new friend, but she finally does and is happy! I like the book and would recommed the book to anyone who thinks that everybody are alike.

Lone Star

The book that I read was called Lone Star because I think that describes the way that she feltwhen she moved to Texas. Lone Star is a good book. It's not really great but it's not really bad either. The author did a goo job in writhing the story and the main character Jane had a lot of problems that the author pointed out really well. The only problem with the book is that the chapters a too short. If I were to compare this book to any others, then I would have to say that some of the Harry Potter books would work. Harry is different from some of the other witches and wizards but Harry still tries to become friendswith them. The same goes for Jane except that shes not a witch and the only thing different from her and the others is her religion. I liked this book and the reasons are because it was well wriiten, the storyline was good, some of the characters seemed a little mean, but they seemed to add to the story. I would give this book a for out of 5 star rating for all of the good parts of the story
