Cute and Real!

I Now Pronounce You Someone Else was an adorable love story about two people who deal with the struggles of pre-marriage. Bronwen was a quirky and sarcastic character. Their were times where she made me giggle and times where she frustrated me. She was definitely a complainer and very picky. Besides that, her personality kept me entertained throughout the book. Bronwen's family was out there yet, unique. Her mother was sort of like a Stepford wife. Everything had to be perfect and emotionless. She called her brother "Jesus" which I thought was pretty funny since, he can do no wrong. The only normal person in her household was her step-dad Whitt. They had their issues but I always felt he truly loved Bronwen unconditionally. All her life she daydreamed of a new family where she could fit in, until she met Jared. Jared was a charming and delightful young man. In my opinion, his personality and manners made him a candidate for a great boyfriend. They seemed to fit wholly together. Also, Bronwen enjoyed spending time with his family who were accepting and supportive. Their relationship overall did develop a bit fast, but it felt right. However, Bronwen's true emotions surfaced later on and she was stuck making a huge decision. The ending was interesting and I can understand why Erin concluded it that way. It was a cute book with realistic characters and issues on love and family.
