Helped My Daughter Let Go of a Bad Relationship

I bought this book for my daughter when she was 14 years old because I had heard that her boyfriend was a little abusive verbally. She kind of gave it a smirk and a snort and went on about her business. I knew that if I tried to encourage her to break up with this boy, it would likely prolong the situation rather than end it. I also knew I had raised her to think for herself and that, given time, she would figure it out. So, I gave her the book feeling confident that if she felt a need for the information, she would pick it up. A couple weeks later, I overheard her having a heated conversation with this boy. That day, she began reading the book, and within a couple of weeks, he was history. Sometimes, it is just easier to hear counsel when it comes from a third party. I am grateful our children have access to information to help them make better choices for their lives.

YOU MUST BUY THIS BOOK

THIS BOOK IS A MUST FOR ALL WOMEN ALIKE, ESPECIALLY TEENS. Unlikes other books that tells you how to act in front of guys, what to do, how to manipulate them, this book actually tells you how to do it by being just yourself. You should focus on yourself, love your life, and love yourself. By doing so, you will attract a line of guys. It has quizzes that really helps me understand myself, and a ton of love questions and answers from real teens and adult women like us. There are many questions, for example: "i like my guy friend, what should i do?" "my boyfriend doest'n respect me, he flirts in front of me, should I dump him?" "my boyfriend (who has a girlfriend/wife) keep on saying he'll dump her, but he hasn't. should i wait for him?" there are tons of questions that answers so many of our every-day ponderings, and Dr. Gilda published her answers to these letters for us to read. The thing I love most about the book is that it reinforces the following idea (or should i say--FACT): When you are confident about yourself, believe in yourself, and manifest that well, lots of guys will be attracted to you. If you're receiving less-than-outstanding treatment, you should kick the guy out of your life and tell yourself, "NEXT!". every girl should be cherished and loved, and you must know that YOU CAN receive that treatment once you meet the right person. never accept less-than-girlfriend treatment from a guy. respect yourself, and he will respect you. Love yourself and he will love you. A guy said this: "girls give up too much to be with guys." Girls, you must be yourself, and change nothing about your life plans because of any guy. I love this quote: "while your grade suffers and life suffers. . .your guy, by the way, continued his life exactly the way he had planned it". Guys are like that. They don't go to college with you because you're there. We girls sometimes give up a good university to be with our guy. We neglect our friends and family sometimes. . .WHILE HE, "by the way", continued his life exactly the way it was before.EVERYONE IS SOMEBODY. No one is a nobody, and you must believe that you're someone special. . someone unique, and that whoever falls in love with you is lucky. And you should never think "there's NO way he'll ever like me". Positive attitude and confidence is what get the guys. Besides, even if it doesn't work out, you have so many other choices out there. "there aren't just two guys living in your town!"There are so much to this book than what i've just written above. Read it yourself and find out. You WILL LOVE YOURSELF after you read this book. You must remember, guys aren't princes more than girls are princesses. Guys aren't ALL THAT. He's exactly what he is----just a guy.

He's not all that

This book is great.. What she is telling you is so true.. And what she says helps you have better realtionships with your friends and guys.. After you read this book you will have a line of guys asking you out.. And if you have problem with your boyfriend she shows you how to fix it.. This so great.. You have to get one!!

An Excellent Reference for Mom's and Teen's Alike

I ...read the book last evening. IT would have been wonderfulif I had been able to access it when I was 15 years old. I feel thatit is an excellent reference for Mom's and Teen's alike. It's uniqueformat allows you to access your relationship and make good decisionsabout how to proceed. I am ...and was particularly moved by the lastreference in the book which makes clear that scholastic aptitude doesNOT translate into relationship aptitude. It , in my opinion, is theresponsibility of every good and caring Mom to guide her daughtersinto making good relationship choices. No matter how intelligent oraccomplished a woman is, her ability to make a good choice in mateultimately determines her happiness. I am not saying that having amate is essential to happiness, but rather if one chooses to have amate, the quality of that choice is essential to happiness. I amdonating a copy of this book to my middle school and high schoollibrary....
