Every family should have this book

My friends daughter died the end of January in a "freak" accident. I immediately wanted to know how I could help them with this tragedy. I researched, this book was consistently recommended. I ordered two, one for them and one for myself. I gave them theirs when they returned from CA after handling many of the details there. I told them I hoped it was not too late to be useful. They both looked through it upon receipt. First they loved the poems. Each went to different sections of the "what to do" lists and said, this is perfect! I am ordering many more to give to others when they have death in their family. It is amazing to me that this book is out of print. There is nothing else similar anywhere.

GRIEF made me feel less alone after the death of my son -

"Right now your book is a life-line for me. Thank you for making me feel a little less alone after the sudden death of our son, Zachary. How could it be? How could all those feelings be on the pages of GRIEF: Climb Toward Understanding? Those were MY feelings, MY emotions, and they were so deep in my soul - how could you know?"-Evelyn Clark

Should be at hand in every home, library, and school.

"I have found that the death of a loved one will likely ravage me before I will ever have the need to use a fire extinguisher. As sensible a tool like a fire extinguisher, when a death occurs, the book 'Grief: Climbing Toward Understanding,' should be at hand in every home, library, and school."
